Sew and Tell….Heather

Heather's Bow Tie and Hexy

Heather has been at it again. Over the last several weeks she’s brought in multiple finished quilts to share with us.

In the Bow Tie quilt below Heather used the Go Baby Accuquilt Tumbler die to cut her pieces. Using her scraps of yellows and greys she has given this traditional pattern a very updated look.Heather Bow Tie Tumbler ScrapIn the next quilt she cut hexagons from a “Happy Go Lucky” Moda honeycomb pack and the result is cheerful. What a great design to showcase these retired Bonnie & Camille prints.Happy Go Lucky Hexagon

Below is her Postage Stamp quilt made up of hundreds of 2″ squares from her scrap pile. Heather's Pink Charm QuiltHeather's Pink Charm Quilt 2

Last ‘but’ certainly not least is her cat quilt which had us all giggling.  She found this freebie pattern on Pinterest and says she couldn’t not make it. Who would have guessed this would be the purpose of a fabric yo-yo!  😆
Cat Butt Cat Butt 2As always a big thanks to Heather for sewing up storm and bringing them into share with us all.
