Trick or Treat

Brenda has been stitching away on some Halloween projects. She’s just completed the first of two Trick or Treat wall quilts. She used flannel bits from her stash as mostly small pieces were required for this easy fusible appliqué project. She used a machine sewn buttonhole stitch for the edges of the appliqués as to keep the project timeline short and sweet.

The bewitched jack o’ lantern, friendly crow and black kitty are front and centre of this design.jackkitty-close-upcrow

Brenda added the embroidered button spider of her own creation as a whimsical addition to the project and it is adorable.embroidered-spider
